There is a Dove that coos in the distance.
A waterfall that flows freely into the River Nile.
Who hears it? Who sees it?
There is a father who dances at his daughter’s wedding.
A mother who wishes life were better for her child,
walks through frightful times.
Who cares about these things?
Who brought them about?
They are for such a time as this.
There is nothing new under the sun.
When we think something has ended, it has only just begun.
As the days get longer and the years shorter,
remember from whence we have come.
Listen more carefully to the coo of the Dove.
Drink in the waterfalls, if you are so blessed.
Think on these things.
See how the sun rises to mark the start of a New Day.
Light the way, so war turns into peace.
Despite some of these things, taste and see that Life is good.
The grapes on the vine burst with sweetness.
Taste wine that makes the heart glad!
Endeavor to enjoy these things that were designed only for you.
What are these things, you say?
They breathe Life and New Hope.
Tell of these things and lighten the world’s burdens.
These Things are of Life!
