This is a day and age when countless numbers of people rely on counseling and therapy sessions to help them navigate their daily lives. They pay exorbitant sums of money to have mere human beings diagnose and treat their various and sundry issues, whether behavioral, social, or emotional, etc. Although some counselors and therapists may help their clients, there is a Counselor I know who has a 100% success rate with those who are willing to rely on His supernatural power to help them work through their issues.

I was introduced to the Wonderful Counselor when I was just a child. During my childhood, when something bothered me, I’d mostly talk to my grandmother about it, and I’d pray like I saw her do so many times on her knees. After I prayed, the Lord always resolved the issue, rather quickly as I recall.

As a teenager, the Lord encouraged me through my parents and the many Sunday School lessons taught by God-fearing members of my church. As I ventured out into the world on my own, it was my choice to cleave to what I had learned about the Lord and to try to emulate His ways as mentioned in the Bible. Whenever I faltered, the Lord always steered me back to what was good and right.

Now that I’m older, I still rely on my Wonderful Counselor, who says in Psalm 32:8 (AMP) “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you.”

In my opinion, Jesus, the Wonderful Counselor, is still the best counselor there ever was or ever will be!
