As I looked out my window this morning, I thought about the mercy of God, and how dependent I am upon His mercy each and every day. As a child of God, I’m reminded daily of the mercy and lovingkindness of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His mercies are truly new every morning.

Here are some verses that speak of the Lord’s mercy and loving kindness towards His people.

I will recount the loving-kindnesses of the Lord and the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel, which He has granted them according to His mercy and according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses (Isaiah 63:7 AMPC).

But this I recall and therefore have I hope and expectation: It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not (Lamentations 3:21-22 AMPC).
